It is not unusual for the Silverleaf family to create half-breeds and Thaldryn was neither the first nor the last. Raised in a very small village in a remote corner of the Arathi Highlands, he had been raised by humans, like a human. However, from his father he had acquired a connection with nature: a Druidic gift. But without a real mentor allowing him to deepen this bond and to master it, he was stagnant.
At the end of his adolescence, he left his home to seek guidance at Teldrassil. However, war had reached Teldrassil before him. Finding nothing but ashes and devastation, he returned to his home, but war is a rapidly spreading plague. Arrived at the gates of his home, the conflict prompted him to take up arms and postpone, without it giving up, his quest for learning.
When the veil shattered between Azeroth and the Shadowlands, he offered himself to cross the realms without knowing what he would find. Although he thought he was ready, the horrors he found when he step foot in the Maw showed him otherwise.
Somehow, after what seemed weeks, he managed to escape the Maw and he ended up in Ardenweald, where he found purpose. Helping the realm to recover from the anima drought, he travels in search of anima for the souls that lay dormant in the small grove he was tasked to protect.
